Non-Local Applicants

(Government-Funded Bachelor's Degree Programmes)

The University welcomes applications from non-local applicants. Non-local applicants are persons who require a student visa/entry permit issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department to study in Hong Kong.

Currently persons holding any of the following documents issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department are NOT considered as non-local applicants:

• "Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card"
• "Hong Kong Identity Card" showing "right to land" status
• one-way permit for entry to Hong Kong
• a dependent visa
• a full-time employment visa/work permit (for part-time study)
• entry visa/entry permit for quality migrants
• entry visa/entry permit for capital investment entrants
• other documents issued by the Hong Kong Immigration Department certifying the applicant's 'right of abode' or 'right to land' in Hong Kong

Due to immigration restrictions, nationals from Afghanistan, Albania, Cambodia, Cuba, Laos, North Korea (DPRK), Nepal and Vietnam may not be able to obtain a student visa to study in Hong Kong. For details, please click here.

Mainland China Applicants 内地学生本科课程招生安排

鉴于香港城市大学已加入全国普通高等学校统一招生计划（统招），每年均需在31个招生省市区分别投放固定的本科招生名额录取内地高考生。在名额及配套设施有限的情况下，城大只会循统招途径招收应屆内地高考生入读本科课程 ( 专业 ) 。持其他学历（如香港院校的学士 / 副学士 / 高级文凭、在内地国际学校或海外院校获取的学历等）的内地生， 将不能通过 Direct Application 或 Special Admissions Scheme 途径申请入学。
