To be eligible for admission, the applicant must satisfy the minimum entrance requirements as given below. Admission to the University is competitive. Meeting the entrance requirements does not guarantee admission.
Other qualifications may include an academic qualification from a local post-secondary institution or a professional qualification acceptable to the University. Qualifications attained by study at a local international school, or a non-local high school, at Grade 12 or equivalent, are also accepted as satisfying the entrance requirements. Applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained in a language other than English will need an acceptable result in an approved English Language qualification such as TOEFL [79(internet)/550(paper)] or IELTS (overall band score 6.5).
Mature applicants are eligible to apply for given programmes notwithstanding that they do not satisfy the requirements specified above. Mature applicants must be over the age of 25 by 1 September of the year of admission and be able to demonstrate aptitude and suitability for the programme.
Note: The University reserves the right to amend the requirements from time to time.
