Entrance Requirements for Government-Funded Associate Degree Programme – Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Students

For admission to government-funded Associate Degree programme offered by the Division of Building Science and Technology, applicants must meet the following entrance requirements. The levels/grades indicated are the minimum acceptable but possession of the qualifications in no way guarantees acceptance.

Minimum Level Required English Language Chinese Language Any Three Subjects (excluding Applied Learning, Chinese Language, English Language)
Associate of Science (Architectural Studies/Bldg Services Engg/Construction Engg & Mgt/ Surveying) Level 2 Level 2 Level 2

Notes:
1.  Unspecified electives may include "other languages" at grade E or above.
2.  Students who intend to select Building Services Engineering OR Construction Engineering and Management are advised to study one or more of the following HKDSE subjects: Mathematics (Extended Module 1 or 2), and/or Physics, Combined Science (Physics and Chemistry) or Combined Science (Physics and Biology).
