What is JUPAS? Am I eligible to apply for admission to bachelor's degree or associate degree programmes of the City University of Hong Kong through the JUPAS scheme?

The Joint University Programmes Admissions System (JUPAS) is a scheme designed to assist students to apply for admission to full-time government-funded bachelor’s degree and associate degree/higher diploma programmes offered by the eight member institutions of JUPAS, and the full-time non-government-funded bachelor’s degree programmes offered by Open University of Hong Kong.

You are eligible to apply through JUPAS if

you are a secondary school student sitting for the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) in the current year; or

you are a non-school applicant who has either obtained or expect to obtain HKALE results in the current year.

You are not eligible to apply through JUPAS if you are currently enrolled in a full-time government-funded bachelor’s degree programme, regardless of whether you wish to make the application on the strength of your HKALE results or not.
