Applicants holding a Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) may apply for admission to the first-year of a degree programme. If you have applied for admission through JUPAS, you should NOT submit an application to the University again for any programmes listed under the JUPAS system. Otherwise, your direct application to the University will not be considered and any application fee paid will NOT be refunded. The application information that you submit via the JUPAS Office is sent to CityU on a regular basis. We will also receive your examination results from the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority via JUPAS. We use this information to identify applicants who meet the entrance requirements of our programmes. Various types of admissions scores are then calculated to facilitate the selection of applicants for admission.
Applicants may be selected for interviews. Our interviews are mostly conducted between June and July, before the announcement of public examination results. Some interviews may also be conducted after the result announcement. For details of interview arrangements, click here. The selection of students for interview would primarily be based on application information [e.g. band choices, exams results (if available), information on OEA form and school reference report].
The Main Round offer results will be announced on 10 August 2015 (tentative). The offer you receive in the Main Round is the best offer possible. If you have an offer in the Main Round, please follow the instructions announced via JUPAS to confirm your acceptance of the admission offer.
