Management Science is the professional discipline that deals with the applications of information technology and science for informed decision-making.
In the 21st century business environment, the ability to make the right decisions is vital to corporate success. There is a growing demand in all sectors for professionals who are able to help companies make the best possible decision fast. Our programme is designed to produce such professionals by developing students' core competencies in five dimensions: broad-based business knowledge, analytical and problem-solving ability, logistics and supply chain management, practical IT skills, and language and communication proficiency.
We aim to equip students with strong skills in analysis and computer-based decision models, a sound knowledge of business operations and proficiency in business communication. Students will learn data analysis, forecasting, optimization, simulation, decision analysis and computer programming, with emphasis on solving practical managerial problems for all functional areas of management, including finance, marketing, operations, logistics, services and human resources.
