Our Target

We prepare students for financial management positions in the industrial, commercial, financial and governmental sectors. We provide students with methodological tools and a solid background in economics, quantitative methods and accounting, and the analytical ability to handle financial and investment activities in business corporations and institutions. With our comprehensive and balanced education, students will learn to make competent financial decisions for employers.

There is a great demand for people with a finance background in Hong Kong and the mainland of China. Financial executives are required to make key decisions on matters such as investment on the mainland, raising investment capital, and short-term investment opportunities.

How Do You Get In

To be eligible for admission, you must satisfy the General Entrance Requirements and the following specific entrance requirements:

D in HKCEE Additional Mathematics or Mathematics
or
E in AS Level Applied Mathematics, or Further Mathematics, or Mathematics and Statistics, or Mathematics with Applications, or Pure Mathematics, or Statistics
or
E in AL Applied Mathematics, or Further Mathematics, or Pure Mathematics

Professional Accreditation

Some courses in the BBA programme provide exemptions to courses in professional examinations from the following professional bodies: Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Society of Registered Financial Planners (RFP-HK), and Institute of Financial Planners of Hong Kong (IFPHK).
