Our Target

This major aims to equip students with problem-solving, technical and managerial skills and knowledge related to Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, and to prepare them for professional careers in the management of modern enterprises.

Entrance Requirements for Direct/Non-JUPAS Applicants

For senior-year (Advanced Standing II) admission, applicants are normally expected to have completed an Associate Degree/Higher Diploma with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of ≥3.0 or an equivalent overall mark, or a credit award in Engineering or a related discipline.

Industrial Placements

The College of Science and Engineering and the Department offer work placement opportunities through various internship schemes that provide students with full-time job attachments in firms not only in Hong Kong, but also in the Pearl River Delta region and overseas.
