We aim to equip students with specialised modern knowledge of civil and structural engineering. Our graduates have an edge over their typical civil engineering counterparts thanks to a broad-based knowledge of civil and structural engineering.
The construction industry is one of the most important industries in Hong Kong and employs almost 10% of the workforce. A large number of housing units have been built over the past decade and this pace of development is expected to continue to cater to the needs of an expanding and increasingly affluent population. As such, Civil and Structural Engineering graduates will remain in high demand.
To be considered for admission, you must satisfy the General Entrance Requirements and the major-specific entrance requirements:
• grade E or above in HKALE Applied Mathematics/Pure Mathematics;
